Use LaneLayer in minutes

⚠️ This is experimental software

LaneLayer is live on Bitcoin mainnet.

But, at this stage, the only guarantee is that BTC burns are honored to the specified Core Lane address in the burn transaction.

State formats, bundle structure, transaction formats, gas limit calculation and execution semantics may change.

Do not rely on state persistence or backward compatibility yet.

Don’t risk money you can’t afford to lose.

Use at your own risk.

1) Add the public RPC (MetaMask)

Use “Add network” in MetaMask:

• Network name: LaneLayer
• RPC URL: https://rpc.lanelayer.com (or the latest public endpoint)
• Chain ID: 1281453634
• Currency symbol: laneBTC

2) Get a wallet address

• With LaneLayer selected in MetaMask, click the account name to copy your address.

3) Join the Discord and share your address

• Join the LaneLayer Discord invite: Discord
• Go to the onboarding channel and click “Start Onboarding”.
• Paste your address in the “Core Lane Address” field and submit.
• You will receive 0.00001 laneBTC (see LaneBTC tab of this site)

4) Send some laneBTC!

• Find someone to send 0.0000001 laneBTC to in the Discord :) You’ll need an address to send to
